Come and join the fun in what is practically our front garden at The Exchange........find us in West End Gardens, Morecambe Sunday 14th August - get creating, designing, building, banging, sawing and re-imagining wood into sculptures at Morecambe’s very first family ‘Seaside Sculpture Day’.
We are delighted to be running FREE workshops which promise to be fun for all the family big to small at The Exchange on Friday 5th and 12th August in preparation for the festival and also on the day thanks to our friends at Morecambe Artist Colony.
There will be lots of wood, tools and nails on site and there will be artists available to help get you started. Entry is FREE, but there will be a small charge for nails and tool hire.
There will be plenty to see and do for those not wishing to build a boat! Other activities will include printing workshops, pop-up seaside fun and games, walkabout musical performances and seaside crafts.
The Seaside Sculpture Day will be a memorable and enjoyable day suitable for all ages. Come and help fill The West End Gardens with your wonderful wooden creations, we’ll be there whatever the weather.
